From the title itself. I love rainy days. It calms me. It’s like the universe telling me to relax, everything is going to okay. The cool and breezy temperature; island people need a break from summer too. Anyway, a lot has changed since I’ve last written in this blog. It’s been more than a month since I was present here.  Even the Blogspot interface has changed lol. I moved out of my old place, I’ve left my job, and after a month I’m finally starting a career at my dream workplace — a Swiss Bank. Phew. Such a life development. On May 10, my family celebrated both Mother’s Day and my mom’s birthday at the Lobster Pot in George Town. Ever since my mom arrived on the island, she had been talking about wanting to eat lobster, so we figured there was no better place to take her than Lobster Pot. We had originally requested an outdoor table when making our reservation because we thought it would be nice to enjoy the waterfront views. Little did we know it was going to be scorching hot that day! On top of that, the restaurant was packed with families celebrating Mother’s Day. I have been back and forth to the hospital the past few days and I haven’t been feeling my best self lately. I’ve been to the emergency room twice and boy I tell you, how lonely it is to be in a hospital bed alone with all those beeping machines and people in pain all over the place. I even witnessed an ambulance coming in with person who just drowned and soaking wet. Anyway, I’m not sure if my condition is due to stress, home-sickness, or change in weather and fatty foods whatever – but don’t worry I am recovering. This week has been pretty mundane, nothing much about me. How about you? The things that kept me busy all week are errands for my workplace and mostly games. The island has been responding very positively on the restrictions set up by the government to prevent the spread of the virus (e.g. curfew, essential business operations, last name protocol, etc). They have been doing an feedback session every two weeks, and when circumstances are getting better, restrictions are being gradually lifted. Majority of the population are obedient with the policies in place that’s why we are now only on suppression level 3, coming from maximum suppression! Great job Cayman! It’s that time of the month again, Halloween! This day last year I was on an adventure in Miami by myself. I was feeling nostalgic so I rummaged through my old blog and found this post about my trip.
