A look back

I’ve always wanted to visit this tourist attraction ever since I came to the island but never really got the chance to do so because I live on the other side. I’m not a green thumb or a plant/flower enthusiast but I love going to botanic parks because of a lot of prospective subject to practice my macro photography. It is also a nice place to unwind, have a quick stroll, and appreciate nature in its most natural form. I’m not sure if cooler fetes are a thing in Asia but here in the Caribbean it is almost like every outdoor party / event there is. Basically it’s a party where you can bring your own drinks and cooler. I’ve been to cooler fete twice before and it was fun, especially now that I learned how to drink (sush, it’s only our secret). Hi friends! How are you? I haven’t been able to update this blog as much as I wanted to, but it is not by choice! I have been swamped the past couple of weeks…😓 Indeed 2023 started with a bang! At work, we have a major issue that my team had to help resolve. When I say major, it is reportable to the ombudsman major! It has been very stressful and challenging trying to fix something that we did not create in the first place, much less totally avoidable! It is disappointing as well that the moment the risk was identified, the most plausible solution was ignored. This week has been pretty mundane, nothing much about me. How about you? The things that kept me busy all week are errands for my workplace and mostly games. The island has been responding very positively on the restrictions set up by the government to prevent the spread of the virus (e.g. curfew, essential business operations, last name protocol, etc). They have been doing an feedback session every two weeks, and when circumstances are getting better, restrictions are being gradually lifted. Majority of the population are obedient with the policies in place that’s why we are now only on suppression level 3, coming from maximum suppression! Great job Cayman!
