I remember my first visit there as a tourist, it almost felt like I’m back in Bonifacio Global City. The location is very aesthetic and it houses almost every essential establishment you could think of. I was born in Metro Manila, and I moved to Grand Cayman about five years ago. At first I enjoyed going to the beach; it felt like an escape from the busy city life. Eventually, I realised that going to beach is a staple for the locals. It is the main weekend activity; there is very little to nothing else to do. I don’t enjoy it anymore as much as I did before. Did you know that turtle meat is one of the national delicacies in Cayman? Where I’m from that would be bizarre to hear but interestingly enough it is not in this side of the world.
