Life Update: Week 4

It’s Sunday. We made it through the week! So let me ask you something, how have you been? Well in my case, it’s a pretty normal week but a little more productive than the last one. Let me share my activities with you in bullets. Monday Went to work, nothing new except a ton of paperwork. Our business has been classified as “essential” so I spent some time to work in the office. Went home pretty early and played Mobile Legends with my friends. Watched Community on Netflix (already watched this when I was in college but it’s such a great sitcom I don’t mind rewatching it over and over again!) Lately, I’ve been so caught up with work and this whole transition that my days feel like one long checklist. Head down, moving from one thing to the next, barely pausing to breathe. But today, something different happened. I stepped outside, took a moment, and for once actually looked up. And right there, under the same sky I’ve walked under for years, it hit me: I’m standing in the exact place I used to dream about. A few years ago, I remember passing by this building and quietly telling myself, “One day, I want to work there.” Back then, it felt so… far away. Fast forward to now, here I am. Since it’s almost carnival season (but has been postponed until further notice), I will take you to trip down memory lane with me in last years celebration! Batabano Carnival  is an annual festival held in the Cayman Islands every month of May. The island is home to more than a hundred nationalities, most (if not all) of which participate in light of community spirit. It is a cultural celebration filled with music, dance, food, costumes, heritage and culture, and ofcourse booze! lol. It is a pretty young carnival that has only been going on for 30 years (thanks to Rotary Club!) Hi friends! It’s been a while. So many things has happened since I last checked in. First and foremost, congratulations to me – I passed CSC Vol. 1 Exam! I started studying for Vol. 2 immediately after though. I know, boo! It feels like its never going to end bubu!! but I’m giving myself until next year before my wedding to complete my certifications. To be quite honest,  there has been a lot of instances where I question myself…is this really the career I want? It is too late to switch?
