Catching up

Hey! Just in case you are wondering, I’m doing okay. Yesterday I went out on a lunch with my nephew at a Vivo Restaurant in West Bay, five minutes away from my workplace. It’s my first time eating vegan and I must say it’s not that bad. It’s just costly lol.

I’m starting to focus on holistic recovery for myself. I recently enrolled in Yoga classes (Yin and Vinyasa) and I’m trying to condition my mind to always have a positive outlook in life.

I cut-off almost all my social media presence (except twitter and blogspot) and it is doing me good mentally so far. I have also engrossed myself over Crash Landing On You, you guys should watch it too! It’s a K-drama with a lot of life lessons and revelations about North Korea.
Anyway that’s it for now — It’s 5:30pm, I’m about to go home and binge watch you know what!

    Save the best for the last! This day is my fiancรฉ’s 40th birthday. I decided to get a private tour of Niagra Falls instead of DIY-ing it myself. Niagara Falls is about 2 hours away from Toronto, and with this weather, it would have been a painful experience for us to do all the commute and transfers just to see the falls.     On May 10, my family celebrated both Motherโ€™s Day and my momโ€™s birthday at the Lobster Pot in George Town. Ever since my mom arrived on the island, she had been talking about wanting to eat lobster, so we figured there was no better place to take her than Lobster Pot. We had originally requested an outdoor table when making our reservation because we thought it would be nice to enjoy the waterfront views. Little did we know it was going to be scorching hot that day! On top of that, the restaurant was packed with families celebrating Motherโ€™s Day.     From the title itself. I love rainy days. It calms me. It’s like the universe telling me to relax, everything is going to okay. The cool and breezy temperature; island people need a break from summer too. Anyway, a lot has changed since I’ve last written in this blog. It’s been more than a month since I was present here.  Even the Blogspot interface has changed lol.     Sometimes it surprises me how I’m still in my twenties when I feel like I’ve already aged by so much the past few years. I don’t know if it is the hectic work/study schedule, or the sudden lifestyle change from buy whatever you want to responsibilities before happiness.     Hi everyone, I’m writing to you now as a means of catching up for last month. I know a lot has been happening around the world especially in my home country, which makes me appreciate how privileged and blessed I am to be living here where the pandemic has been handled pretty well.
