    Halloween in Cayman Islands 2020

Hey guys, you might have already read my post the other day about The Hallotober Tag. I mentioned there that I love Halloween because I like dressing up, going to parties, and having fun on spooky community events. Last year, I went on a Halloween party bus (with missions and games) and since then I’ve always looked forward to this years event.  My costume was ready since the beginning of the year. Yes, that’s how excited I was! I even signed up on three events: Fright Fest: The Strand Block Party, Nightmare on Walker’s Road, and Dead On Arrival: All Inclusive Halloween Event. Finally, the wait is over! This year, I dressed up as… *drum roll please*… Sailor Moon! The Fright Fest is an annual event and has…

    The Hallotober Tag

I know it’s late to do the Hallotober tag since it’s November in like two days, but I’d like to go and participate in it anyway! Thanks to Izzy for tagging me, and Jordanne for this idea! Halloween has always been my favorite part of the year. I know some people would say Halloween isn’t something to be celebrated because of its origins, but common guys, it’s 2020! Halloween is fun because you can dress up as literally anyone and go to spooky parties! It’s that one time of the year where everybody suddenly becomes a cosplayer; and everybody suddenly has a supernatural experience to share. I love watching horror movies with my friends and be frightened with them, I don’t know, it makes me…

  • Fun things to do in Cayman, other than water sports!

Fun things to do in Cayman, other than water sports!

Hey everyone! How was your week? Mine has been pretty hectic, a lot of changes in my workplace and I had to take on a big responsibility all of a sudden. I spend my 7 hours at work fully and productively. After work I roam around West Bay and George Town to practice my driving skills, and do some errands every now and then. Sometimes I feel like all I ever do is work, eat, and sleep! Anyway, back to what I was saying, my mentor resigned effective immidiately before I was fully trained so I had to take on the responsibility earlier than expected, with support only from the offshore team. So much drama and tea! Well I could feel that she wasn’t really…

  • Life Update: Week 4

    Life Update: Week 4

Hey, how are you? Life update: I finally got to drive my car on the main road for the very first time yesterday. As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently got my driver’s license. It was nerve wracking but such a learning experience. The tip professionals would always tell me, assume that everybody else on the road doesn’t know what they’re doing. That way you’ll be more alert and cautious. Kind of helpful thinking that I am the smartest driver on the road lol. Weekends are always chill and slow for me nowadays, thankfully, unlike before where I work on Saturdays and  then do all my chores on Sundays. Can you believe? no more rest day left for me. For two years I…

How to ace your Cayman Islands driver’s theory test

Hey you all! I’ve recently passed my Cayman Island’s written driver’s exam. I wasn’t a driver before I came here so I have no prior knowledge of road rules. It only took me 15 minutes to finish the test on my first try! Most people I know have been warning me on how difficult the exam is and that they had to retake it atleast 3 to 4 times. To be honest it wasn’t hard at all, and your odds of passing just depends on how prepared you are before the exam. For those who are planning to take it, today is your lucky day! I’m going to share with you some tips on how you can not only pass, but actually nail it on…
