As mentioned in my previous blog post, I recently got a job at my dream company, a Swiss bank. It is located at one of Grand Cayman’s hot spots for tourists, Camana Bay. I remember my first visit there as a tourist, it almost felt like I’m back in Bonifacio Global City. The location is very aesthetic and it houses almost every essential establishment you could think of. There is a bookstore, numerous restaurants and cafe’s, clinics, cinema for leisure, mini gardens for picnic, and ofcourse the Fosters (the grocery store) is just a few steps away.
Definitely, having your workplace there is such a privilege. The entire location has state of the art facilities especially the security and data centre. Most companies there are wealth management / investments banks and audit firms. I remember my previous co-workers aspiring to work there as well.
Now my mom, upon knowing my transfer, is very excited and curious as to how working there is like. She would always ask me to send her photos so she would feel like she is also there with me. And so I decided to tag you along with my virtual tour and hope you enjoy some photos of my super cozy and aesthetic work location!
Bus access is not a problem too as there is a walkway going to the main road for commuters like me. I would always get a little bit of grocery here and there before going home and it is such a convenience, I don’t have to waste another CI$ 4 just for transportation alone lol. It’s also a nice place to hangout with friends especially in the night. The lights are scenic.
