This week has been productive for me. I’m currently in the transition phase of changing jobs and so at one point I am not so busy with my current job, but on another I need to set some ground work for my next job. I’m not sure if cooler fetes are a thing in Asia but here in the Caribbean it is almost like every outdoor party / event there is. Basically it’s a party where you can bring your own drinks and cooler. I’ve been to cooler fete twice before and it was fun, especially now that I learned how to drink (sush, it’s only our secret). Checking in today. This blog always lingers in the back of my mind, and even though I keep telling myself I’ll write something, I often don’t. Is it that I’m getting older, or is it just that my energy drains faster these days? I was at work having lunch earlier today, I was browsing through my bloglist, and I came across this article entitled Is there still a place for personal blog posts? The moment I saw the title I was like, how can you read my mind?! I was thinking the exact same thing. When I started blogging years ago, the blogs I follow are purely personal. Sometimes it surprises me how I’m still in my twenties when I feel like I’ve already aged by so much the past few years. I don’t know if it is the hectic work/study schedule, or the sudden lifestyle change from buy whatever you want to responsibilities before happiness.
