I can’t believe it! I am now officially part of the married women club! Nothing much has changed, to be honest, given that my husband and I have been living like a married couple for a while now. But still, it’s nice to know that we’re now officially bound together for life.  We decided to get married in the Cayman Islands to avoid the tedious process of applying for a marriage license in the Philippines. We’ve been trying to sort out all the paperwork since January this year, but the back and forth of legal requirements took a lot of effort, time, and money. Checking in today. This blog always lingers in the back of my mind, and even though I keep telling myself I’ll write something, I often don’t. Is it that I’m getting older, or is it just that my energy drains faster these days? I promised I’d keep this space alive so I can one day look back and see how life was—even if it’s the little things. I’ve said it before, but it still feels true: so much has been changing around me. Am I getting older faster than I thought? Lately, I’ve been struggling to manage my emotions and behavior. I’m so terrible at keeping my blog active, na tru? A lot has been going on quite recently. Apart from still learning about my current role in my new workplace, I am also studying for 4 upcoming exams: CSC 1, CSC 2, CPH, and Options/Derivatives. I’ve mentioned this numerous times in the past and I know I sound like a broken record because that’s about the only thing I ever talk about! But really — I work from 8:30am-4:30pm, study on lunch breaks, attend study group session from 4:30PM to 7PM, every single day. I only have a window of time on Saturdays to sleep, do house chores, run some errands, date night with hubby-to-be, or watch netflix! Then on Sundays I go meet up…

Hi friends! This is me trying to update my dusty old blog lol. As you all know, halloween is one of my favourite events in the year mainly because I love seeing people dressed up not just in spooky costumes but creative and cute ones as well! And since I’m a fan of Brooklyn Nine Nine’s halloween specials, I incorporated the same idea in my workplace. I recently joined the social committee and immediately took dibs of organising halloween this year. Last year, we had a spontaneous party and awards for best costume and best decor.
